We have evolved to be predominantly a collaborative species and, with or without a Godâs help, we have needed to develop moral codes to guide people. The need for our species to be better at collaboration has never been greater if we are to survive. The Secular Morality Project is a hopeful response to this desperate need and aims to develop âpersonalâ standards of behaviour that can be understood and shared by all human beings, theist, agnostic or atheist.
