Nigel will talk from the book by Norman Pittenger, called Picturing God, which was published in 1982. Norman presented a 'new model' of God based on the philosopher, mathematician and theologian, A.N.Whitehead in process theology. Following the previous online discussion about Covid-19 we shall see something of what Norman has to say about God, Evil and Sin, where the assumption is that God is involved in the world, not seated outside and intervening. 10th October will be the final of the five Marcus Borg Memorial Lectures. These lectures have so far featured Diana Butler Bass, Robin Meyers, Marianne Borg and Noel Irwin bringing fresh perspectives on progressive Christianity. We will confirm the details of the event as soon as we have them.
