PAGANISM

We have asked Nic to talk about the Pagan Faith for about 30 minutes, following which we shall have an opportunity for discussion. Our usual format is to end with refreshments, finishing altogether by 4pm.

The small charge is to cover the costs of hiring the hall etc.

We do hope to see as many of you as possible who are happy to come into Exeter, though we recognise that the timing might not be right for all. It's likely that we shall still need to wear masks and sit socially distanced.

Location:
Southernhay Church Hall Exeter EX1 1QA
Speaker:
Nic Gibson, who is an Executive Member of the Pagan Federation in Devon.

"Kin-dom ethics of flourishing."

Dr Amanda Udis-Kessler will be speaking to us during her lunchtime in Colorado. Amanda is a sociologist, lay ethicist, and sacred music composer and will discuss her current work developing a "Kin-dom ethics of flourishing." This approach to ethics draws together sociological insights about being human, a deep commitment to justice and human well-being, and a passion for Jesus's vision of the Kin-dom of God. Amanda will introduce core components of the approach and then discuss its value for progressive Christians who seek to bring spirituality, ethics, and humane politics together.

Frozen in time? Christ, Creeds and Modern Belief

Reports of the conference and Leader articles were written about it. It had a profound effect on the Church of England’s Doctrine Commission just seven years later.
