Our discussion will be based around the first four chapters of "Jesus, Then and Now", by John Simmonds. It looks at how Jesus the man from Nazareth became Jesus the Divine. Simmonds challenges us to hold on to the life and teachings of the man who seems unlikely to have sought his deification.
