Having considered the issues arising from abortion, euthanasia and racism in recent meetings, one of our members will initiate a discussion about the basis of a progressive Christian approach to moral and ethical issues. If, like Richard Holloway, we can say that you do not have to be religious to be moral, or to believe in God to be good, what might a progressive belief mean for the way we decide about moral and ethical issues?
