WHERE or WHAT is GOD ?

If you do not wish to indulge in the traditional formal arguments for the existence of God, but wish to consider how we might use the word God in our experience of life, then this is for you. Setting aside the creeds of the church, is not the bible concerned about living life in tune with God (or the Sacred, if you prefer that word) ? In the UK today, people often object to the use of the word God in any practical context. Is that because people imagine God as A BEING (rather than BEING) and even worse that anyone using the word is intent on imposing on others a package of their beliefs about that personal object called God ?
